DECEMBER IS SUCH a busy month that I find myself eating on the go most days. To keep myself from eating all of the things I should not, I like to pack my purse with fresh foods. I eat a lot of the fresh citrus from my front yard, but last week I got a box of brand new apples on the market that made me smile -- and put some crunch into my day.
The apples are called Grapples because they are actually apples that have been soaked in grape juice to make them smell and taste like grapes. They're tasty and they're fun. Find them in your local market in clamshell packs of four for $3.49-$5.
Note that these apples are not GMO modified; they're just Washington State apples soaked in grape juice. All good. and Facebook @
