PASS THE BREAD

NOT LONG AGO, bread got a bad rap. It was categorized as a dietary villian, a food best left on the shelf for anyone hoping to look and feel their best. The idea was, in my opinion, ridiculous -- and based on wrong information.
Sure, white bread made with poor quality bleached white flour is nutritionally deficient, but breads like the new Nature’s Pride Hearty Wheat with Flax bread is in an entirely different category. Made with olive oil and rich in omega 3 and fiber, the bread is a nutritional powerhouse. I love that Nature's Pride makes an entire line of breads, each one starring different grains and seeds. But the biggest win? Nature’s Pride Double Fiber bread, which provides grams of fiber and 18 grams of whole grains per slice, yet it is soft and supple enough to sell past picky little eaters who think they don't want whole grain bread.
