PERKY STORY

PERKY TAKE ON JERKY: I ripped open an envelope the other day and couldn't help but laugh. Inside were a few pouches of Perky Jerky. I tried it and I had to admit that it is definitely perky -- it's spiked with caffeine and guarana -- and it tastes exactly like a jerky should.
Even if I didn't like the contents, I loved the advice on the package: Grab a Jerk and Go.
Giggles aside, I have to say that the beef jerky is less chewy than most, and has great salty, spicy, sweet flavors. I'd pick it over any others on the shelf if I was unconcerned with the caffeine factor. One thing I know for sure, I won't forget the name of this product. Perky Jerky is about $6 for a 2-ounce package.
